Founder's Story/ The Story Behind the Tools
Hi, I'm JIUYE WU, the founder of Nanning Signalling Network Technology Co., Ltd. I have worked on Android & iOS app development, Java backend development, middleware R&D, and cloud-native R&D. Throughout my technical journey, I have studied the source code of many frameworks and middleware, as well as parts of the JVM and Linux kernel. I enjoy sharing my findings in technical articles, most of which are recorded on my blog at wujiuye.com. I've also published two books: 《实战Alibaba Sentinel》 and 《Java虚拟机字节码：从入门到实战》.
During my years in middleware development, I noticed that many colleagues were hesitant to analyze network packets, perhaps because it seemed daunting. Therefore, in 2024, I created ChatTCP. My goal was to lower the barrier to TCP packet analysis so that all developers could easily master packet capturing and troubleshooting, while building up fundamental networking knowledge along the way. Shifting the mindset from "learning networking before using tools" to "using tools to solve problems first, and mastering networking through practice."
At the end of 2025, I resigned to start my own venture, hoping to use my unique understanding of technology products to build great network analysis and debugging tools for developers. In January 2026, we launched ApiCatcher, an intuitive and delightful HTTPS packet capture and debugging tool for iOS developers. I put a lot of effort into refining product details—such as invoking AI to help write regular expressions, visualizing complex replay rule builders, and writing scripts with AI assistance. Making features appear exactly when users need them—that is what I define as a truly "intuitive and delightful" product.
We will continue to polish our products, ensuring they always meet demands while remaining a delight to use.
